TASK was launching an international smart desk brand… but needed an efficient, pre-revenue campaign.

As high end mass marketing moves to smaller screens, luxury brands are increasingly in search of new ways to save on production budgets to maximize their ad spend. However the very needs of luxury brands, demand top tier deliverables. We call our solutions for this tier “intimate luxury” - a more personal approach, defined by cinematography in intimate spaces.

By reducing the physical scale of each shot, we are able to maintain an elevated product, while reducing the constraints on crew & equipment. The trick is to place the same emphasis and artistry on location scouting as with larger scale productions, and to find the right balance between space & lens choice to create brand defining looks.

As an interesting side effect, many small spaces, overlooked by large productions, still maintain a sense goodwill and caché that is increasingly harder to find in the large scale world.
